My Experience
I am a Senior Broadcast Engineer with NBCUniversal Media, based at New York’s Rockefeller Plaza. Over the course of my career, several of my engineering projects—both in the U.S. and abroad—have been recognized by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences for excellence in studio construction and technical team collaboration. My expertise includes engineering and implementing SD/HD systems and computer server automation networks in partnership with leading manufacturers such as Grass Valley, Evertz, Snell, and Omneon. I specialize in integrating cutting-edge technologies—including Coax, Fiber, Satellite, and Ethernet—into cohesive, high-performance systems. I have built a reputation for delivering innovative, cost-effective solutions within strict timeframes and budgetary requirements. This success is driven by a genuine passion for making complex systems work seamlessly and by a deep proficiency in leading-edge technology and design implementation.
My Skillset
I bring a keen eye for detail, enabling me to identify and resolve even the smallest design errors. I thrive under pressure, consistently delivering high-quality work on time and within budget. My ability to collaborate effectively with professionals of diverse backgrounds and skill sets—across the U.S. and internationally—has been a key driver of my success. My video engineering experience includes managing over 60 Grass Valley video servers and RAIDs utilizing MJPEG formats, as well as engineering in-house builds for video streaming services with Miranda SMEs. I have hands-on expertise with video codecs H.264 and H.265, along with FFmpeg protocols for OTT distribution. I am Cisco CCNA trained, with a strong foundation in IT and network systems engineering. My technical background extends to AWS and remote IT services, including virtual machines, Evertz EXE IP/Video routers, and large-scale cloud-based serial digital video networks. I also have experience with IP-based intercom systems, remote network monitoring, remote KVM, SMPTE, and Dante audio routing in cloud-based environments. Additionally, I am proficient across multiple operating systems, including iOS, Windows, macOS, and Linux variants.
My Passions
My Passions
I have been a musician since the age of ten and, in the 1980s, founded my own music entertainment company. This eventually led me to join the renowned Power Station Recording Studio in New York City as an audio technician and engineer, where I had the privilege of working with legendary artists in the music industry. To this day, I continue to play, write, and record music in my spare time. Even as a pre-teen, I was deeply fascinated by electronics and technology. In 1984, I built and hosted my first BBS server with multiple analog phone connections—well before the internet era—which grew to a worldwide community of more than 2,000 members. This early passion for technology has shaped my lifelong drive to innovate and solve complex problems under pressure.
I also enjoy traveling to remote destinations, meeting people from all walks of life, and contributing to projects where I can make a meaningful impact. More recently, I have explored the world of AI-generated music and successfully published songs for global streaming distribution on more than 150 platforms under the artist name BobJersey. My music can be found on YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music, Pandora, and many others.

In my most recent role at NBCUniversal Media, I successfully led the implementation of an advanced HD broadcast facility. I oversaw multiple phases of the project—from planning and integration to operational support—while collaborating with producers, directors, and technicians to ensure smooth broadcasting operations and compliance with industry standards. Additionally, I identified and implemented cost-effective solutions that enhanced workflow efficiency and reduced operating expenses.
